Former footballer and now coach Andrea Firlo has reached an agreement with Fatih Karagumruk to take over at the Turkish club until 30th June 2023, APA reports citing "Today".
Andrea Pirlo has a new challenge ahead of him. The Italian legend has joined Fatih Karamgumruk in the Turkish top flight.
For some days there have been rumours over an agreement which has been made official this Sunday. The Turkish club explained that Andrea Pirlo’s contract will run until 30th June 2023.
The Italian coach will try and take Fatih Karagumruk towards the top of the Turkish league after they ended this season in eighth.
It will be Pirlo’s first managerial role after having an inconsistent season at Juventus which saw the team miss out on winning Serie A.
Now, Pirlo comes to a league outside the top five in Europe and Fatih Karagumruk wish him “success” in this new job.
