Azerbaijan national team retains its position in the FIFA ranking

FIFA has published the national team rating, APA reports.

İn comparison with the last month, there were no significant changes in the last list of the year.

The position of the Azerbaijani national team has not changed either. Gianni de Biasi's players did not play a single match during the reporting period and ended 2020 in 109th place. Our team has 1180 points, it has the same index as Estonia.

Among the rivals of our national team in the qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup, Portugal (1662) is ranked 5th, Serbia (1494) - 30th, Ireland (1440) - 42nd, Luxembourg (1235) - 98th. Our national team's rival in the upcoming control games is Qatar with 1391 points in 58th place.

Note that Belgium (1780), France (1755) and Brazil (1743) settled in the first "three" of the list, the national team of fraternal Turkey (1487) is in 32nd place.
