Inter Milan have halted all playing "activities" as Juventus star Daniele Rugani has tested positive for coronavirus three days after the teams met, APA-Sport reports.
Italy centre-back Rugani even posted a tweet of dressing-room celebrations after Juve returned top of Serie A with Sunday's 2-0 home win behind closed doors.
But Juventus confirmed on Wednesday night Rugani, 25, has Covid-19, albeit with no symptoms so far.
Inter quickly responded by saying: "FC Internazionale Milano announces that, following the Juventus FC statement regarding the positivity of the player Daniele Rugani at COVID-19, all competitive activities are suspended until further notice.
"The club is taking steps to prepare all necessary procedures."
