Moussa Dembele sparked panic among his Atletico Madrid teammates and staff after collapsing during training on Tuesday, APA reports citing Talk Sport.
The Frenchman, who is thankfully now OK, appeared to lose consciousness while stretching his hamstrings and fell motionless to the ground in distressing footage caught on camera.
Players rushed over to assist the 24-year-old, as did medical staff, who spent several moments trying to bring him back round, while other teammates ran to call for extra help.
Dembele regained consciousness after being turned on his side and was able to leave the pitch unassisted, while the former Celtic man was also filmed driving away from training on his own after the incident.
According to reports, the striker has since undergone medical checks, which put his sudden fainting down to low blood pressure.
There is reportedly no cause for any serious concern about the Lyon loanee’s health.
