The 16th world championship in aerobic gymnastics planned to be held in Baku has been canceled, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) stated, Apasport.az website reports.
The competition scheduled for May 14-16 has been postponed for an indefinite period. This was caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Moreover, the 9th World Age Group Competition has also been called off.
The report says currently, the discussions are being conducted between the FIG and the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation in regard to favorable option of the date of holding of the competition.
