Zlatan Ibrahimovic secured his double in 3rd consecutive match

Last night's Los Angeles derby lived up to the hype after a certain Zlatan Ibrahimovic set the scene alight at the Banc of California Stadium, APA reports citing Givemesport.

‘El Trafico’ - as the clash has become so eloquently known - didn’t disappoint, ending in a helter-skelter 3-3 draw.

There had been a lot of talk in the build-up surrounding the rivalry between LA Galaxy’s superstar and LAFC forward Carlos Vela, who has been making light work of the MLS of late.

While both men scored on the night, it was Zlatan who stole the headlines, netting an easy brace inside the first 15 minutes of the game.

It took just two minutes for the towering Swede to make his mark on the tie, ghosting in behind the defence before coolly slotting home at the near post.
