Ambassador: “Kazakh companies are interested in participating in restoration of liberated territories”

The Kazakh Embassy in Baku hosted a working meeting on "Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan: new opportunities for cooperation", APA reports citing the Embassy. 

The meeting discussed the current economic priorities of the two countries, the current state of cooperation in trade, economics, energy, transit, transport, and agriculture, as well as prospects for their development in the post-pandemic period.

Delivering a speech at the meeting, Serjan Abdikarimov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan noted that the stabilization of the situation around Karabakh creates new conditions for wider transregional integration of the South Caucasus and Turkey with Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries, opening the growing potential of the Caspian port infrastructure of the two countries, the participation of Kazakh companies in the restoration of liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

Kazakh entrepreneurs attending the meeting have noted that they are interested in implementing new business projects, including in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
