Assistant to Azerbaijani President: “There are citizens of countries from Lebanon, Syria to Canada in mercenary groups of Armenia”

“There are mercenaries, brought by Armenia, in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan”, Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev said at a briefing today, APA reports.

H. Hajiyev said that more than 300 mercenaries have been gathered in the VOMA terror organization too: “There are citizens of the countries from Lebanon, Syria to Canada in the mercenary groups of Armenia. There is also information on France’s radical organization representative's gathering a group in order to arrive in Azerbaijan’s occupied territories. At the same time, there is also information on the presence of PKK members in the occupied territories.”
