Assistant to Azerbaijani President calls Pashinyan’s opinion about Martyrs of January 20, nonsense

Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President - Head of the Department for Foreign Policy Affairs of Azerbaijan’s Presidential Administration has commented on Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan’s opinion about Martyrs of January 20, APA reports.

Hikmet Hajiyev stated that the Armenian side issues absurd, contradictory statements.

H. Hajiyev reminded that Pashinyan called January 20 martyrs extremist: “This is an obvious example of nonsense, what more one can expect from him? He compared Solzhenitsyn with fascist executioner Garegin Nzhdeh who served in fascist forces. ”
 
H. Hajiyev emphasized that January 20 Tragedy was accepted by the international community and honored the memory of the martyrs: “January 20 Tragedy is being commemorated on an international level at all of our diplomatic representatives. Various events are being held in remembrance of January 20 tragedy and the tragedy is being brought to the attention of the international community”
