“Glorification of fascism should have no place in the CIS area,” said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, APA reports.

Especially stressing the decision “On the draft appeal of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States to the peoples of the Commonwealth and the world community on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”, the Minister Jeyhun Bayramov brought to attention Azerbaijan’s great contribution to the victory over fascism.

He noted that the adoption of the decision has great importance in the fight against ideology of Nazism and its various forms of propaganda noted with regret that Nazism is still being promoted in the CIS and voiced as an example erection of the monument to fascist Garegin Nzhdeh in the center of the capital of Armenia in this regard.
