Azerbaijani MFA: Next year, the main efforts will direct to involve friendly countries and partner intl. organizations in restoration of liberated territories from occupation

In 2021, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan will continue its agile and pragmatic foreign policy to ensure the state interests and national interests of the Republic of Azerbaijan decently in the international arena, says a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the results of 2020, APA reports.
"The main efforts are to develop cooperation based on the principles of mutual respect and equality in our bilateral and multilateral relations, to involve friendly countries and partner international organizations in the restoration of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, to promote new cooperation and development initiatives in the region, as well as large-scale regional energy and transport. It will be aimed at strengthening Azerbaijan's position and further enhancing its prestige in the international arena by ensuring the successful implementation of infrastructure projects.
Foreign policy will be based on the idea emphasized by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, "Building relations with all countries on the basis of equality, mutual respect and trust is one of our main principles," said the Ministry.
