“Preferential trade agreement will give an impetus for increasing our trade turnover,” said Azerbaijani PM Ali Asadov at Turkey-Azerbaijan business forum in Ankara, APA reports.

Prime Minister noted that Turkey has invested in the Azerbaijani economy more than 13 bln so far: “We are sure that mutual investment will also continue from now. More than 4100 Turkish companies have been registered in Azerbaijan. About 2000 companies with Azerbaijani investments are operating in Turkey. Azerbaijani businessmen, who invested in Turkey, are in the first places among Central Asian and Caucasus countries. Turkish and Azerbaijani citizens will be able to visit each other with only their IDs. This will positively affect to increase trade turnover and development of tourism. Large-scale projects implemented by Azerbaijan and Turkey play an important role in transforming our countries into a transport corridor”.
