Azerbaijani delegation to PACE in new composition holds its first meeting

The first meeting of the new composition of the delegation of Azerbaijan to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has been held today, the deputy Kamal Jafarov said in his statement to APA.

The deputy head of Azerbaijan’s delegation to PACE has been elected by the joint decision of the delegation.

Deputy noted it is both great confidence and great responsibility for him: “As President Ilham Aliyev noted, we should be active in delivering historical realities regarding Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Garabagh conflict, conduct offensive diplomacy, and should fight against all groundless claims against Azerbaijan through any platform. I think we also should set our activity by guiding these principles. That is why, responsible and so important activity wait for us under the leadership of head of the Delegation Samad Seyidov. I congratulate my other colleagues, represented in the new composition and wish success all of us in this work.”
