Brazil's parliamentary observation group held a press conference on the February 9 parliamentary elections, APA reports.
Antonio Anastasia, the first vice-president of the Brazilian Senate and head of the Azerbaijani-Brazilian friendship group in the Senate, said he was happy to observe the elections in Azerbaijan: "The election process was very good. I am very pleased to see democracy here."
Claudio Cajado, the head of the Azerbaijan-Brazil Friendship Group at the Brazilian Congress, said that he observed observations at Binagadi and Garadagh precincts: "During the day, I communicated with each of the rival candidates. I was satisfied with the conditions created here. The elections were held in a very democratic manner."
