Cavusoglu: “Delivery of natural gas to Nakhchivan via Turkey is strategic project”

“Azerbaijan is at the top of the list of countries exporting natural gas to Turkey”, said Turkey’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu at the joint press conference held together with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, APA reports.
He said Turkey will further increase the volume of the natural gas that will be imported from Azerbaijan in the future.
“We also give priority to the implementation of two more projects. One of them is Kars-Nakhchivan railway line. And the second project is the delivery of natural gas to Nakhchivan via Turkey which is a strategic project. On the other hand, the issue of strengthening cooperation in the area of culture and education and among universities are being discussed”, the head of the Turkish MFA stressed.
