Azuma Ryushin, Chief Abbot of Soto-School Zen Buddhism Daijoji Temple in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan has sent a letter of gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, APA reports citing the Presidential press service.

"His Excellency Mr Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Thank you for your invitation to take part in the world religious conference, for the second time in your country. I am sure that it was a very meaningful meeting for us. I will send the information of the meeting to the Japanese newspapers and share it with you later.

I pray for the future development of this conference, which was the first in the world," the letter reads.
