“We are interested in opening the direct flights with Baku” said Vladimir Potemkin, the Deputy Governor of Kaluga Region, APA’s Russian bureau reports.
Deputy Governor noted that they are interested in involving Azerbaijani businessmen to the region.
Unfornunately, currently we rarely met with Azerbaijani business in our region. We want the Azerbaijani products to be represented in our market. Alongside with this, we intend to study the experience of your country in specialized areas, especially in tourism, medical tourism, construction and other fields. After that, we are interested in opening the direct flights between Kaluga and Baku. We have the conditions for this. The Kaluga International Airport operates. We consider that the opening of direct flights will promote the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the Kaluga region, as well as between neighboring Tula, Bryansk and other regions” V. Potemkin noted.
