Embassy of Afghanistan: We are together with Azerbaijani people”

The Embassy of Afghanistan in Azerbaijan has shared a post regarding the Khojaly genocide, APA reports.

The Post reads: "We share the grief of the Azerbaijani people on this day that we mark the 29^th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide. The people of Afghanistan have lived similar events throughout history. The majority of people including women, children, elderly people have died. The parliament of Afghanistan has recognized the event that occurred on February 26, 1992, as Genocide. We are also together with our brotherly Azerbaijani people as it was throughout history. We ask God to have mercy on their souls".
