"President of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar will visit Azerbaijan on the occasion of the victory of this fraternal country," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this today at the opening ceremony of Gapala Marash, timed to coincide with the 37th anniversary of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, APA reports.

President of Turkey noted that E. Tatar will make this visit as a sign of support for Azerbaijan.

R.T. Erdogan conveyed greetings to Azerbaijan from Northern Cyprus and said that Turkey will begin to build a powerful future with the Turks of Cyprus, just as it began to build it with Azerbaijan: "You have witnessed the victories of Azerbaijan. Our brotherly Azerbaijan regained its lands, which had been under Armenian occupation for 28 years, in 44 days. Currently, they are gradually returning to their lands. As long as we are united, we can handle any problem. May Allah rest the souls of our martyrs, thanks to whom we had a chance to live in these glorious days."
