The Foreign Ministry has reacted to reports by some news agencies that Ukrainian contractors were fighting by Azerbaijani side in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the groundlessness of this information, APA reports.
Leyla Abdullayeva, the head of the Foreign Ministry's press service, said that this information is baseless and completely disinformation: "Azerbaijan has a strong and professional army and does not need any outside forces to prevent military provocations by enemy forces, as well as to restore the territorial integrity of the country within internationally recognized borders.
