“There are very productive relations between Turkey and Georgia. We will expand these relations much more. Dynamic ties exist in the fields of economy, politics, culture,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani at the joint press conference with Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, APA reports.

Minister noted that Turkey supports Georgia on all international platforms. Georgian Minister expressed gratitude to Turkey for it.

“We should strengthen our strategic cooperation. We have discussed the current situation in the region. We are sure that we will overcome problems together. We have talked about new formats today. These formats should base on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries. We have also conducted an exchange of views on the 3+3 format – Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia. Our cooperation in the Caspian region is very important for the whole region,” noted D. Zalkaliani.
