Georgian PM expresses gratitude to Azerbaijan for supporting territorial integrity of Georgia - UPDATED

Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia has received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, APA’s Georgian bureau reports citing the Georgian government.

During the meeting, cooperation issues on political, economic, energy, education, and culture fields between the two countries have been discussed.

During the discussion, the sides have touched upon difficulties in the region, as well as the importance of strategical partnership between the two countries has been stressed.

“Issues of deepening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia in different formats have been discussed at the meeting. Attention has been paid at the cooperation between two countries in the fields of economy, transportation, and energy. It has been noted that Azerbaijan is one of Georgia’s significant trade partners. Georgian Prime Minister has expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs for his support to Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It has been noted that both countries are interested in peaceful resolution of regional conflicts”, noted in the information.
G. Gakharia has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its support to Georgia’s territorial integrity.

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has received Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.

Issues on bilateral and multilateral relations between countries are being discussed at the meeting.

Note that Jeyhun Bayramov’s official visit to Georgia will end today.
