Germany’s embassy thanks Azerbaijan for solidarity and friendship gesture

"We thank Azerbaijan for solidarity and friendship gesture!", noted Germany’s embassy to Azerbaijan on its official Facebook page, APA reports.

"Yesterday night Heydar Aliyev Center situated in the central part of Baku glittered üith colors of the German and Azerbaijani flags. Through this campaign having been continuing for several days, Azerbaijan expresses its support to Germany and other countries having been seriously damaged by coronavirus".

The Facebook post reads: "It is a sign of our friendship, not only between our governments, also between our people to appreciate our common struggle against the corona-virus. For me it is a very, very nice signal that on one of the most important buildings in Azerbaijan, the German flag is displayed. Thank you very much!"
