“Israeli-Azerbaijani relations are currently covering wide-range,” head of the Holocaust History Center, Kiril Feferman told reporters, APA reports.

According to him, it is important to study the unresolved territorial conflicts of both countries.

Mentioning his visit to Red settlement in Azerbaijan, K Feferman said its fame spread far beyond Azerbaijan: “Muslims and Jews live together there. In general, Azerbaijan is a country that can be an example of multiculturalism. Nowadays Islam is not welcomed in Europe, however, representatives of different nations have lived in peace in Azerbaijan throughout history. It seems to me that Azerbaijan's experience should be learned from this perspective.”

K. Feferman emphasized that Jewish people never faced discrimination during their history in Azerbaijan: “Anti-Semitism could never take root here. Currently, the two nations continue to maintain close relations.”
