“Azerbaijani Embassy has been opened in Hungary in 2010 and from that period, the intensive cooperation has been implemented” said Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto following the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

P. Szijjarto said that the political relations between two countries are based on mutual respect: “We have never interfered with internal affairs of each other. There is not any political issue unsolved between our countries. This gave us the opportunity to develop our cooperation in the field of economics and business. The Hungarian economy has also benefited as a result of fair and correct political relations. “Hell” company of Hungary has become a leader in Azerbaijan in the field of energy drinks. Half of the goods imported from Hungary to Azerbaijan are pharmaceuticals” he said.
