Iranian Ambassador expresses gratitude to Azerbaijan

Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Jahangirzadeh expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan, APA reports citing the Embassy's Twitter account.

"Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Jahangirzadeh appreciated Azeri government’s measures ( Illumination of Iran’s flag by Heydar Aliyev Center ) in solidarity with Iranians in fighting COVID-19 and described such measure as a sign of solidarity with Iranians in fighting coronavirus", reads the tweet.

Remind that as an expression of Azerbaijan’s solidarity with the international community in the area of fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, beginning from April 3, the flags of the states affected by the virus are demonstrated on the building of the Heydar Aliyev Center is one of the world’s best architectural monuments to the accompaniment of musical compositions of those countries.
