Despite the continuing occupation of 20 percent of its territories, Azerbaijan has confirmed its constructive position in the negotiation process with its real activities. Azerbaijan has been at the negotiating table for almost 30 years,” said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the press conference on results of meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov held in Moscow, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

The minister said he supports the political resolution of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict: “Besides, we think that quite serious legal basis is available for settlement of the conflict and we think that the process of negotiations should be conducted on the basis of the documents adopted by international organizations. These are the four resolutions of the UN Security Council and other documents adopted by international organizations in recent years. From this viewpoint, we support the continuation of the process of negotiations. But we think that the process of negotiations should be conducted around concrete issues, should be substantive and shouldn’t be an imitation of the negotiations’ process. We think that the statements, activities that damage the process of the negotiations should be condemned by the international community and firstly by the co-chair countries.”
