Jordanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan summoned to MFA over arm sale to Armenia

The Ambassador of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Sami Abdullah Ghosheh was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan, MFA told APA.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov met with ambassador Sami Abdulla Gosheh.

Deputy Minister Araz Azimov has discussed with ambassador of Jordan the issue of arms sales of this country to Armenia.

Deputy Minister brought into the notice of the Ambassador that consequences of Armenia's aggressive policy have not been eliminated and 20 percent of Azerbaijani territory is still under occupation, hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijanis are living as IDPs, and news about Jordan's arms sales to the occupant country was met with dissatisfaction by the public at a time when Armenia's recent military provocation on the international border of the two countries has once again clearly demonstrated that this country has not given up its aggressive intentions.
