”Currently, Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan relations are characterized by high-level and mutually beneficial cooperation,” Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi told reporters at the extraordinary meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of member states of Council of Cooperation of Turkic-speaking states (Turkic Council).
The Minister noted cooperation line, established by the first Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev and former Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev, is also continued today: “The cooperation is based on high-level political dialogue between heads of both states and governments. Partnership between parliaments of two countries has also been established at high level. Further improvement of commercial and economic relations between two countries is one of the main issues we face with. Trade relations, as well as volume of mutual investments are increasing between two countries. We also use our transit potential very well, as Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan play the role of a bridge between Europe and Asia, Europe and East.
