Minister: "At the root of the aggravated situation in the region stands namely Armenia's occupation policy"

"Decisions and resolutions on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict are not being implemented, and double standards are observed," Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during a meeting with Hungarian Foreign and Trade Minister Péter Szijjártó, The Foreign Ministry told APA.

J. Bayramov has informed the opposite side that at the root of the aggravated situation in the region stands namely occupation policy of Armenia, Armenia keeps under the military occupation of Azerbaijani lands nearly 30 years, and especially from that reason, the tense is observed in the region.

Informing the opposite side in detail regarding the latest military provocation on the border of two states, and the latest current situation in the region, J. Bayramov brought into attention that the only way to ensure lasting peace and security, prosperity in the region is the withdrawal of the armed forces of the occupier country from the occupied Nagorno Garabagh region of Azerbaijan and seven surrounding districts as requires the resolutions of UN Security Council and other known decisions and documents of other organizations too.
