Fakhraddin Altun, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Presidential Administration of Turkey has met with Azerbaijani Culture Minister Anar Karimov who is on a visit to Turkey, the press service of the Turkish Embassy to Azerbaijan told APA.
The issues of cooperation in the fields of media, culture, TV series and cinema were discussed at the meeting.
F. Altun noted that “One nation, two states" is not just a word, Turkey also closely cooperated with Azerbaijan in the field of media in the liberation of Karabakh.
He noted that Turkey and Azerbaijan strengthen cultural cooperation.
According to F.Altun, a book called “Victory in 44 days in Karabakh” published in three languages by Public Relations Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration is a symbol of the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood.
“Alongside with Karabakh Victory, we will implement joint serial and film projects regarding historical events like the Islamic Army of the Caucasus, Khiojaly genocide on the instruction of Turkish President” F. Altun said.
F. Altun has also noted that the scale of damage caused by Armenia to the material and spiritual heritage in Karabakh should be delivered to the world: “Solidarity with Azerbaijan is our national duty. I am a witness of our Mr. Prtesident’s brotherhood with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev”.
A. Karimov has also noted that Azerbaijan will never forget Turkey’s support: “We have felt the support of brotherly Turkey not only in Karabakh Battle but also throughout history. We have liberated Azerbaijan, Baku from occupation together with the Islamic Army of the Caucasus 100 years ago. We are grateful to the Turkish state and our brothers. We have never forgotten this support and will never forget”.
