Our brotherhood with Azerbaijan grows stronger from today, Turkish FM says

"Our brotherhood with Azerbaijan grows stronger," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu wrote on Twitter, APA reports.

"From today, travel to/from Azerbaijan is possible only with an ID card. All obstacles are removed, and our brotherhood is strengthened. May it be good for our citizens and our Azerbaijani brothers," Mr. Cavushoglu wrote.

Note that Protocol No. 1 between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on amendments to the Agreement on mutual visa exemption signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on 25 February 2020 entered into force today. By taking into force this protocol, Turkish citizens will be also able to visit Azerbaijan without a visa for 90 days with the new generation ID.
