President of Azerbaijan: Today Turkey protects justice, the rights of oppressed peoples in some countries

"This historic victory is a manifestation of our unity," Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at a press conference following the signing ceremony of documents between Turkey and Azerbaijan, APA reports.

President Ilham Aliyev said that Turkey and its President from the first hours of the war provided support to Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani people: "The statements of the Turkish President were very valuable for the Azerbaijani people and at the same time they were a message for the whole world. They talked about the fact that Azerbaijan is not alone, let no one interfere with Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan began a fair struggle, the Patriotic War and Turkey next to Azerbaijan. This was a kind of manifestation of solidarity. This showed that Azerbaijan is right in its struggle. We have restored historical justice, put an end to the occupation that lasted for many years. The fact that a brother like Turkey was next to us inspired us even more, gave us additional strength and, using this strength, we liberated our historical lands from occupation. When meeting my dear brother, or being in fraternal Turkey, I always said that it is impossible to find other countries in the world that would be as close to each other as Turkey and Azerbaijan. It's true. If we look at the map of the world, we will see that there are no other countries that are as closely tied to each other as our countries. We are united by a common destiny, religion, culture, language, literature and at the same time our politics. Turkey and Azerbaijan are pursuing an independent policy on a global scale. Turkey's strength makes us stronger. Today, thanks to the leadership of my dear brother, Turkey has become a world center of power. Turkey protects justice, the rights of oppressed peoples and restores justice, international law in many countries of the world. Erdogan's Turkey is an example for the world. This is an example of independence, courage and courage. At the same time, this is an example for development."
