Presidential aide: No COVID-19 case recorded among foreign diplomats in Azerbaijan

“No infection with novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has been recorded yet among foreign diplomats in Azerbaijan”, said in his statement to APA Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration.

He said there are a total of 4,100 people in embassies, international organizations, and in general in the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan.

“This figure includes the members of the families of the foreign diplomats, as well as the local personnel working in the diplomatic missions. As of now, no information has been received about occurrence of coronavirus infection case among them”, the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan noted.
