Rules of entry of Georgian citizens to Azerbaijan announced

The rules on entry of Georgian citizens to the territory of Azerbaijan have been announced, the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Georgia told APA’s Georgian bureau.

Georgian citizens who have a permanent residence permit in Azerbaijan, as well as who is married to Azerbaijani citizens should apply with application to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia and Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in advance when they want to enter the territory of Azerbaijan.

After that, the Georgian MFA submits a note to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia, and Georgian citizens mentioned in the list attached to this note are allowed to enter Azerbaijan.

Noted that only those whose name is in the list submitted by Georgian MFA are allowed to enter Azerbaijan.

Noted that Georgian MFA submits the updated list to Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia every week.

As well as it was noted that citizens of all other countries remaining in Georgia do not need to apply to the Georgian MFA to leave the country.

“There is no need for Azerbaijani citizens to appeal to Georgian MFA for evacuation. For this there is only need to apply to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia,” the information reads.
