Samad Seyidov: “Final decision on Eastern Partnership is next blow from Europe to Armenia”

“Final decision of the Council of the European Union (EU) regarding its Eastern Partnership policy after 2020 is the next blow from Europe to Armenia”, Samad Seyidov, Chairman of International and Inter-parliamentary Relations Committee of the Azerbaijani Parliament told APA, while commenting on the final decision of the Council of the European Union (EU) regarding its Eastern Partnership policy after 2020.

He noted that some issues are not given enough attention due to pandemic takes over information agenda, that is currently taking place in the world and undermining the political and economic influence of many countries: “However, the final decision of the Council of the EU on May 11 on the Eastern Partnership policy after 2020 is not among the issues that is out of focus. So, alongside this decision is very serious importance, as well as it should be evaluated as a strong blow by EU to Armenia, as well as to its destructive policy.”
