Trilateral video conference held between ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan

The trilateral video conference has been held on July 13 between the minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov, the deputy Prime Minister and the minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mahammad Hanif Atmar, the Ministry opf Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan told APA.

The participants of the meeting discussing the cooperation plans in the area of implementation of results of the discussions held and the decisions adopted during the meeting of heads of states of the three countries held on July 2, 2020, have reached agreement about the steps that will be taken in the area of potential branches of cooperation in the trilateral format.

The minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov bringing to the notice that the statements voiced at the meeting of the heads of states determined the main direction of the economic partnership in the trilateral format, noted the expediency of working in the area of cooperation in trade, transport, energy and investment sectors.
