“The ceasefire on the frontline between Azerbaijan and Armenia has been announced at 12:00 a.m. Baku time today. Azerbaijan has given Armenia a chance to retreat from the territories occupied by it for the last time", APA's bureau in Turkey reports citing a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey.

It has been noted that Azerbaijan proved to the whole world that Azerbaijan is able to liberate all of its territories, which are under occupation for 30 years, with its own opportunities and self-confidence in the armed conflicts started by the Armenian side on September 27, 2020: “Declaration of a cease-fire has been wanted from all over the world due to humanitarian reasons. That is why Azerbaijan gives the last chance to Armenia.”

It has been noted in the statement that cease-fire was declared for the exchange of hostages and bodies of dead servicemen: “However, although this measure is an essential activity for beginning, will not replace permanent resolution of the problem”.

"Turkey earlier declared that supports a way of solution, agreed by Azerbaijan, and continues to stand by Azerbaijan both at the battle field, and on the table of political negotiations by being loyal to the principle", noted in the statement.
