“Peace and stability in the South Caucasus is for the benefit of everyone,” Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif, APA reports.
He noted that ceasefire has been reached in South Caucasus.
“We all want ceasefire to be lasting. But it is not enough only to want, it is necessary to contribute. By the proposal of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and support of Russian and Turkish Presidents, cooperation regarding South Caucasus in 3+3 format is planned. Javad Zarif, before visiting Turkey, visited Azerbaijan, Russia, Armenia and Georgia, exchanged views regarding this issue,” the head of the MFA stressed.
