Ukrainian MFA has once again stated its position that it supports the territorial integrity of states, the statement of the Foreign Ministry's response letter to Jalal Huseynov, Secretary General of the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Rada reads, State Committee for Work with Diaspora told APA.
The letter reads that on the day when the situation in Nagorno Garabagh became tense on September 27- Ukrainian MFA stated its concern about escalation of the confrontation between Azerbaijan and Armenia and called on the sides to return peace talks. At the online briefing held on September 30, Foreign Minister Dmitry Koleba stated that supporting the territorial integrity of states is a cornerstone of Ukraine's foreign policy."
It was brought to attention of our compatriot that Ukraine’s position on supporting territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is unchanged: “Ukraine supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan within its internationally recognized borders."
