The Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) and the Los Angeles representation of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) being among the most authoritative Jewish organizations of the world and the USA have condemned the atrocities implemented by the Armenian Dashnaks against members of the Azerbaijani community in front of the General Consulate on July 21, Azerbaijan’s General Consulate in Los Angeles told APA.

The subjection to violent attacks of members of our Azerbaijani community has been condemned in the issued statements, and it has been stated that this is inadmissible. At the same time, the appeal has been made to the Los Angeles Police Department to properly investigate those crimes committed on the grounds of hatred.

Note that immediately after committing of violence by the Armenian Dashnaks against our citizens, our General Consulate in Los Angeles immediately informed about this crime the authoritative Jewish organizations of the USA with whom it has been maintaining friendly relations for many years, and stated the importance of the resolute condemnation of committing of such a violence on the grounds of ethnic hatred in such a city as Los Angeles where different ethnicities are living. Consequently, the aforementioned Jewish organizations came up with these statements and demonstrated solidarity with Azerbaijan.

The General Consulate continues its measures in the area of attraction of attention of the wide public of the USA to this barbarism of the Dashnaks.
