Zakharova: "Close cooperation established between Russia and Azerbaijan in the fight against coronavirus"

"Coordination of activities of Russia and Azerbaijan in the fight against coronavirus and the socio-economic impact of this virus are among the topics currently on the agenda between the two countries," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova at a briefing today, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to her, close cooperation established Russia and Azerbaijan in the fight against coronavirus: “This subject has been several times discussed by the heads of governments of two countries Mikhail Mishustin and Ali Asadov, heads of MFA Sergei Lavrov and Elmar Mammadyarov. Profile organizations of Azerbaijan and Russia are in contact. At the beginning of March of this year, the Russian side has sent 120 test systems to Azerbaijan. These systems are for conducting 12 000 investigations. After that, we are also ready to provide necessary assistance to our partners.”
MFA Spokeswoman also expressed gratitude to Azerbaijani side: “Moscow and Baku are cooperating closely on the return of our citizens. We are grateful to the Azerbaijani side for its assistance in this matter. "
