Ali Hasanov: "Terrorist groups are created in occupied Azerbaijani territories"

"Narcotic substances mainly is brought to Azerbaijan through smuggling,” Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov said at the opening ceremony of the 36th International Drug Enforcement Conference (IDEC) held in Baku, ONA reports.

Mr. Hasanov said that the fight against smuggling of narcotics into Azerbaijan has been strengthened recently, and large quantities of drugs were prevented smuggling across the country.

The deputy prime minister noted that new weapons were being purchased with the money earned due to the drugs cultivated in the occupied Azerbaijani territories, terrorist groups were created and these terrorist groups were sent to the conflict zones around the world: "This enlarges the scale of the danger."
