Ambassador: “Pakistan supports Azerbaijan’s stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue”

“Azerbaijan is doing an important part in this region especially in maintaining peace and stability, despite the fact that twenty percent of its area is under occupation,” the Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan, Saeed Khan Mohmand said in an interview to ONA news agency.

Mr. Ambassador emphasized that his country always supports Azerbaijan’s stance on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh.

“Pakistan is the only country which not recognized Armenia because of this Nagorno-Karabakh issue. We have passed a resolution in our parliament regarding this issue of Nagorno-Karabakh. We have passed a resolution in our Senate that the Khojaly massacre was genocide,” Mr. Saeed Khan Mohmand said.
