Ambassador: Meeting between Presidents of EU Council and Azerbaijan was constructive

The president of European Union Council Donald Tusk’s visit to Azerbaijan was an indicator of the development of relations between the Union and Azerbaijan, said the Head of EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Kestutis Jankauskas, APA reports.

The ambassador stated cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan has a positive dynamics: “We are satisfied with the dynamics. We are at the last stage of negotiations on the agreement. The EU and Azerbaijan have also achieved new progress in aviation agreement. The South Gas Corridor Project continues successfully.”

Mr. Jankauskas noted that collaboration in all fields was carried out.

“Donald Tusk expressed his support for the Azerbaijani territorial integrity during his visit. Meeting of Donald Tusk and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been held in very good and constructive condition”, the diplomat said.
