Arif Alvi: The people of Pakistan join in celebrating with their brethren from Azerbaijan this joyous occasion

From Arif Alvi, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has congratulated the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan İlham Aliyev on the occasion of the Republic Day, ONA reports citing the Presidential press service.

The congratulatory letter reads:

"On behalf of the government and people of Pakistan and on my own behalf, I would like to convey our heartfelt felicitations on the Republic Day of Azerbaijan. The people of Pakistan join in celebrating with their brethren from Azerbaijan this joyous occasion.

The pace of our ever growing cooperation gives me immense satisfaction.

The support that we offer to each other on Jammu and Kashmir dispute and Nagorno-Karabakh is reflection of the strong brotherly sentiment that cements our two nations.

I look forward to working closely with your Excellency to continue to further strengthen our relations to the mutual benefit of the two brotherly people.

I avail myself of this opportunity to express my best wishes for your Excellency’s health and happiness.
