Azerbaijani FM pays visit to Peru

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has paid a working visit to Lima, the capital city of the Republic of Peru, the press-service of the Ministry told APA.

According to the report, in the framework of visit realized on Peruvian FM Néstor Popolizio Bardales's initiative, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will attend the14th Summit of the Presidents of the Pacific Ocean Alliance member states (Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Chile) and officials of observer states, to be held in Lima on July 5-6.

Within the framework of the summit it is planned to discuss organization of the working table for the observer countries of the organization and bilateral and multilateral development of transport, innovation, high technology, culture, tourism, medicine, environment and other cooperation opportunities between member countries and countries with observer status as well as opportunities for strengthening trade relations
