Chairmanship of Turkic Council passes to Azerbaijan

“The chairmanship of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) has passed from the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan," the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov said at Council of Foreign Ministers of the Turkic Council, APA reports.

"The chairmanship of the Turkic Council will pass from Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan on the 10th anniversary of the Nakhchivan agreement," said Chingiz Aidarbekov.
Note that, the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) is being held in Baku today.
