Co-chair of Joint Commission on Delimitation and Demarcation of Georgian-Azerbaijani borders to be heard in Parliament

Co-chair of the Joint Commission on Delimitation and Demarcation of state borders of Azerbaijan and Georgia, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia will be heard in the Parliament regarding Keshikchidagh issue, APA’s Georgian bureau reports citing Georgia’s TV channel.

The hearing will be held on initiatives of independent deputies Eka Beselia and Zviad Kvachantiradze.

It was noted that at the closed-door hearing deputies will ask questions on the work of the relevant Commission, especially conditions in “Chichkhituri” and “Sehra” monastery monuments, surrounding Keshikchidagh complex.

Deputies stated the purpose of holding the meeting close is to get more detailed information.

“We attach great importance to the meeting, in which Co-chair of the Commission Mr. Darsalia will be heard. All issues related to Keshikchidagh will be discussed in the meeting and hearing’s being close will enable us to get more information on the issue and conducted negotiations”, said Eka Beselia.
