Deputy Minister: “Azerbaijan is interested in strengthening relations with member states of Turkic Council”

“Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) played a role in establishing peace in the region”, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramiz Hasanov said in the international conference named “Turkic Council: 10th anniversary of Nakhchivan Agreement”, held by the Center for Analysis of International Relations, APA reports.

The Deputy Minister noted that the Turkic Council played the role of a profitable platform in establishing peace in the region and cooperation in areas of common interest.

Hasanov expressed confidence that the Turkic Council will continue to play the role of a driving force in cooperation: “Azerbaijan is interested in strengthening ties with member countries of the Turkic Council in bilateral and multilateral formats, and in cooperation in areas of mutual interest. We believe that the Turkic Council will continue to contribute to pooling efforts to achieve our goals.”
